I had my top two wisdom teeth removed this afternoon. Dr. Martey and his staff ensured that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Martey had a gentle hand when starting my IV and I was awoken gently after the procedure was completed with conversation. It has been about 8 hours and I have very minimal discomfort and do not need to take the prescribed painkillers. I am very satisfied with my experience and would gladly recommend Dr. Martey to anyone for extractions. He seems to be a no nonsense kind of guy and I appreciate that as well.

Before this, I went to a terrible oral surgeon and that doctor was condescending and refused me anesthesia and turned me away. I had a lot of anxiety following that experience, but Dr. Martey regained my trust. The day I was turned away by a different doctor, I had already had the numbing shots into my gum. Later that day I couldn't open my mouth or chew, all from numbing shots, even with no surgery. After my surgery with Dr. Martey, my mouth had more moving ability and I could eat than my experience with the last doctor. I think that goes to show the quality of his work. A terrible oral surgeon messed up my mouth from just numbing shots, while Dr. Martey gave me anesthesia, numbing shots and took a wisdom tooth out and left me in less pain. I highly recommend Dr. Martey.

Dr. Martey saved me from needless procedures recommended by other dentists. He did an amazing job fitting a crown that I was told would require surgical removal of my Gum.
